The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office tells the sad story of a missing 18-year-old whose body was recently discovered in a canal –
“The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office on November 20, 2019 at 1434 hours, received a call of a body in a ditch south of Myers Rd. on Lonestar Rd.
The Colusa County Detectives and Dive Team responded to the area locating a deceased male adult floating in the canal. The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team extricated the body. The deceased adult male was identified as Jose Canchola, 18, from Colusa.
On October 27, 2019 at approximately 0030 hours, Jose was last seen leaving a residence on foot in the area of the 6000 block of Myers Rd. in Williams, CA. The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office has been conducting an investigation since this time in regards to the whereabouts of Jose Canchola.
