A criminal street gang in the city of Chowchilla was the focus of the Madera Police Special Investigations Unit.
On 12/06/2019, the investigation led to the arrest of 22-year old Rafael Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, who was on probation and prohibited from possessing firearms, had quite the artillery collection.
In addition to his probation being revoked, he could be charged with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
Gonzalez was booked into the Madera County Jail with bail set at $550,000. MPD Special Investigations Unit, who strives to maintain the safety of their community, thanks Chowchilla PD for their assistance in this case.
