Mighty Ducks actor arrested on suspicion of burglary, being under the influence of controlled substance
Actor Shaun Weiss, known for his main role in the popular Mighty Ducks film series, has been arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Around 7 AM on Sunday, January 26th, officers with the Marysville Police Department arrived on the 600 block of 11th Street to investigate a burglary in progress and spoke with a homeowner who said a stranger was in his garage.
Officers found the individual, later identified as Weiss, sitting inside the victim’s car, which he had gained access by shattering the window.
Weiss was ordered out of the car and taken into custody, during which he reportedly exhibited symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Weiss, 40, is perhaps best known for his role as Goldberg the Goalie in The Mighty Ducks film series. He has also had roles in the 1995 Ben Stiller film Heavyweights and the television series Pee-Wee’s Playhouse.
