Trinity County Sheriff issues press release on PRCS violation arrest

“On January 22, 2020 at approximately 4:30 PM, Deputies with the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office were in the area of Washington Street in Weaverville, searching for a wanted subject named David Crockett, for violating his Post Community Release Supervision.
During their search, Deputies spotted David Crockett, who fled on foot. California Highway Patrol Officers and Sheriff Deputies responded to the area and set up a perimeter. Trinity County Sheriff’s Office K9 Johnny was deployed and soon located and apprehended David Crockett hiding under a nearby trailer.
Crockett was taken to a local area hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, after which time he was booked into the Trinity County Jail.

Charges:
3455PC – Violation of Post Community Release Supervision
148(a)(1)PC – Resist, obstruct, delay a Peace Officer”
