An Auburn woman has been arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI after reportedly leading Bishop CHP on a pursuit.
Local CHP began receiving numerous calls about a woman driving recklessly along southbound US-395 near Keough Hot Springs Road and managed to catch up with her and attempt an enforcement stop near Reynolds and Juniper Roads in Big Pine.
The woman, later identified as Kimberly Sue Hahn, nonetheless continued eastbound on County Road and then turned back onto southbound 395, reaching speeds near 100 MPH, before eventually pulling to the right shoulder just before 5 PM. At this point it had been about an hour since the initial calls to CHP.
Hahn reportedly refused to exit the vehicle upon pulling over, but finally did so after a nine-minute standoff and was placed under arrest without further incident.
She has since been booked at the Inyo County Jail on suspicion of felony evasion, misdemeanor DUI, and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license.
