The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office reports about a man who turned himself in after a murder on Mountain View Avenue –
“On February 18th 2020 at approximately 3:47pm, deputies responded to a residence on Mountain View Avenue near Gordon Avenue in unincorporated San Jose for a report of a possible dead body.
Deputies searched the residence and located one adult female victim deceased. Detectives and crime scene investigators were dispatched to the residence and quickly determined this was a homicide. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner Coroner’s Office was notified and we will not be releasing the identity of the victim until there is confirmation that the next of kin has been notified.
Detectives worked throughout the evening and into the night, speaking with neighbors and collecting additional evidence. The residence where the incident occurred was being used as a rental property.
On February 19th 2020 at approximately 11:45am, the suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Ryoichi Fuseya, was accompanied by his attorney when he turned himself in to Sheriff’s Office Headquarters. Fuseya was questioned, arrested and booked into the Main Jail in San Jose on murder charges by Sheriff’s detectives.
