The battle to stop illegal drugs never ends, as this story from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office official Facebook page reminds us –
“Deputies stopped a car in the area of 40th Ave and Clares St. for a vehicle violation.
During a search of the car deputies found two loaded handguns, pills, over two pounds of marijuana, a scale and other cannabis products.
The guns were not registered to the driver, Malakai Veikoso.
He was arrested for carrying a loaded handed gun, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful transport/sale of marijuana.”
