The Redwood City Police Department released this report about a young man who touched a teenage girls’ breast –
“On Monday, March 9th, 2020, at approximately 2:05 PM, Redwood City Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Willow Street in Redwood City on a report of male suspect that inappropriately touched a thirteen-year-old female victim.
The male suspect, identified as Yacir Guzman (18 years old), fled prior to police arrival. The victim told responding officers she was walking home from school when she was touched on her breast by the suspect, who was riding a bicycle at the time.
Officers conducted an area canvass and located video surveillance in the area, which captured the incident. Still photos of the suspect were distributed to local law enforcement agencies. A Deputy with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office was able to positively identify the suspect as Yacir Guzman, from prior police contacts.
Redwood City Police detectives located the suspect at his residence in unincorporated San Mateo County along with the bicycle he was riding at the time of the incident. Guzman was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under fourteen years of age and sexual battery.
