Man in critical condition after Stockton shooting

Late Thursday night in the area of Seventh and Anne streets in Stockton, a 25 year-old man was shot, but his wound was not expected to be life-threatening. However, after the victim was taken to San Joaquin General Hospital where he underwent surgery, he was reported to be in critical condition. The victim could not give the police a detailed description of the shooter, but he did say that the attacker was a man in his 30s.
