The Vacaville Police Department details a high-risk stop of an SUV that resulted in three arrests –
“As the wind picked up on Friday afternoon, so did the work for your Vacaville police officers.
At around 5:30 p.m., If you were in the area on Nut Tree Parkway and Helen Power Drive, you likely noticed a large police presence. As officers were responding to calls, they received an alert reference a wanted vehicle. Officers were provided a description and license plate for a white SUV wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in the City of Fremont.
An observant officer located the SUV in question as it pulled into a shopping center, located near the intersection Nut Tree Parkway and Helen Power Drive. Due to the inherit danger reference the information provided, a high risk car stop was conducted. During the stop all occupants complied with instructions and were safely detained without incident.
At the conclusion of our investigation officer’s arrested 51-year-old Jerrell Loggins and 53-year-old David Terrell both of Oakland as well as 45-year-old Jarrod Porter of Hayward. All three men were arrested on narcotics and possession of stolen property charges.
The Fremont Police Department was contacted and will be handing the robbery investigation.”
