Sutter County authorities seize narcotics during search warrant

“On July 23, 2020 Sutter County Sheriff’s Office Net-5 Agents served a search warrant on Ruben Rodriguez, which included his Toyota Avalon. This occurred on Heather Drive east of Stabler Lane in Yuba City.
During the search, the Net-5 Agents located 150.7 grams of heroin, .79 grams of cocaine, 117 Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills, 9mm handgun, and a large amount of other prescription pills that were not prescribed to Rodriguez.
Due to this incident and further investigation, another search warrant was authored and approved on the same day. This search warrant was for Rodriguez’s residence located in Yuba City.
During this search, Net-5 Agents located a Glock 4 10mm handgun, 15 round magazines, speed loaders for a 38-special handgun, a large amount of prescription pills not prescribed to Rodriguez, a large amount of Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills, and some stolen property.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Sutter County Jail for numerous charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of stolen property, and possession of an illegal firearm.”
