100+ m.p.h. leads to loaded AR-15 confiscation

When you speed by a police officer going over 100 miles per hour, you are going to attract their attention.

Such was the case on August 6 on I-80 with a dark blue Hyundai.

The pursuing officer couldn’t execute a traffic stop because the speeding driver crashed into a concrete barrier.

The approaching officer saw the driver get out of the car and “begin to open his rear passenger door and search the backseat area.”

A loaded  AR-15 pistol-rifle was in the backseat. 21-year-old Shaquille Alexander Thompson was arrested for weapons violations and booked into jail.
