Merced Police: Enforcement stop leads to citation for drug possession

“On August 13, 2020 at 10:52 P.M., Officer Prevostini of the Merced Police department made an enforcement stop on a white Mercedes in the 1600 blk of R st for expired registration.

After identifying the driver as Anthony Ray Cooper (43) and learning that he was on probation, a search of the vehicle was done. Officer Prevostini located approximately 100 grams of Methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Cooper was eventually given a citation for possession for sales of Methamphetamine.”
