Chico PD: Brothers arrested after family fight on North Cedar Street

“On 10/05/20, at 3:23 p.m., CPD Officers responded to a call of three men in a fight at the 1100 block of N. Cedar Street in west Chico.
Officers arrived and located the victim with injuries to his head and face. Through investigation, Officers determined this was a fight between family members over money.
The victim was transported to Enloe Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers made contact with the two suspects and conducted a probation search of their residence. Inside, they found an illegally possessed firearm, as well as Cocaine, Heroin and a substantial amount of cash.
Suspects Christian and Nicholas Romero went to Butte County Jail for the following penal code violations:
- Assault with a deadly weapon,
Battery with great bodily injury,
Possession of Cocaine with the intent to sell,
Possession of Heroin with the intent to sell,
Armed in the commission of a felony,
Possession of an illegal firearm,
As well as other associated charges.
Both Christian and Nicholas Romero were booked into the Butte County Jail.”
