“On Sunday, November 1st, shortly after 11:00 am, we responded to the Heritage Inn for a report of a physical disturbance.
One of the involved parties had left the scene prior to our arrival, but Shelby Putthoff was still on scene and had identified herself to law enforcement using someone else’s identity.
She also gave the officers a false name of the other involved party. During the investigation, it was determined that Putthoff had been assisting the other party in avoiding detection and ultimately arrest for felony charges.
The officer ultimately learned Putthoff’s true identity and discovered she was on searchable probation out of Merced. A probation search produced drug paraphernalia and an identification card belonging to another person.
Putthoff was arrested for false impersonation of another, accessory to a crime, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property and violation of probation.”
