On November 7, 2020, four men got into an altercation near the 12400 Block of Avenue 80 in Teviston.
Two men were shot as a result. One man was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The second, 24-year old Jose Luis Ramirez, did not survive.
A November 10th autopsy revealed Ramirez was killed from a gunshot wound to the back.
28-year old Adrian Cavasos and 22-year old Andrew Cavasos, brothers, were arrested for the shooting.
They were detained at the scene and their weapons, a shotgun and handgun, were confiscated at that time.
Both were booked into the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Pre-Trial Facility for homicide.
