“On 1/14/21, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Unit, (WENET), served a search warrant in Sacramento County pertaining to a psilocybin mushroom cultivation.
This location was associated to the distribution of psilocybin mushrooms to El Dorado County. During the search warrant the following items were recovered:
1 1/2 lbs of dried psilocybin mushrooms
18 totes of mushrooms currently being cultivated
Numerous spores and other psilocybin mushrooms in different states of cultivation
Over 6 grams of Cocaine
Over 2 grams of Ketamine
Over 3 lbs of processed marijuana.
Any criminal charges filed in the case will be charged in, and by, Sacramento County. Some of these potential charges include: PC 273a (Child Abuse), H&S 11390 (Cultivation of Psilocybin Mushrooms), H&S 11378 (Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms for Sale), PC 182 (Conspiracy), and H & S 11351 (Possession of Cocaine for Sale).”
