On 3-20-2021 Officers from the Crescent City Police Department interviewed and ultimately arrested John Caristo (age 52) for 3 counts of Penal Code 287, Forced Oral Copulation.

Officers received the call for service early in the shift and then spent several hours interviewing the victim and suspect.

The case is still being actively investigated and will be forwarded to the Del Norte County District Attorney for review.

Caristo was booked into the Del Norte County Jail and is currently being held with a bail of $75,000
