Ex-boyfriend returns for sexual assault

“On Saturday June 5, 2021 at about 0938 hours, Kings County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the Stratford Branch Library to meet with a confidential victim regarding an unwanted subject at the victim’s house.

Upon arrival, the victim disclosed the ex-boyfriend, Mario Ramos Gonzales, came over to the victim’s house the prior day, violating a criminal protective order from a prior domestic violence incident.

Later in the evening, Mario became upset with the victim and forced the victim into a bedroom where he sexually assaulted the victim. Mario then prevented the victim from leaving overnight.

The next morning the victim was able to convince Mario to let the victim go to the store. The victim then called the Sheriff’s Office to report the incident. Kings County Sheriff Detectives responded to assist in the investigation.

Sheriff Deputies responded to the victim’s house in attempt to locate Mario, but he was no longer there. Deputies began looking for Mario around Stratford and learned he had possibly been given a ride to the Tachi Palace Casino in Lemoore.

Deputies responded to the Tachi Palace and located the vehicle Mario was picked up in. Deputies coordinated with Tachi Palace Security and tracked Mario down, where he was taken in to custody and later booked in to the Kings County Jail with a $175,000 bail.”
