“Riverside, CA – The Riverside Police Department’s Narcotics Unit has been conducting an investigation involving a male and female couple who were suspected of selling methamphetamine from their residence on Deerfield Road in the city of Riverside. This was the Narcotics Unit second investigation at this residence within the past 30 days. During the first investigation, the homeowners, Joseph and Lisa Iorio were arrested and detectives seized over six ounces of methamphetamine.
The Narcotics Unit continued to monitor the couple after their release from county jail. The unit developed enough information to determine that Mr. and Mrs. Iorio were once again involved in drug sales while out on bail.
On Thursday, July 22, 2021, the Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the Riverside Police Department’s POP Team, conducted a probation compliance search at their residence in the 5900 block of Deerfield Road in Riverside. The search resulted in the seizure of nearly six pounds of methamphetamine and over $700 in cash.
Joseph Michael Iorio, 57-years-old of Riverside, was arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales. He was booked into jail and is currently being held on $35,000 bail.
