Someone didn’t have it their way!
On 8/3/2021, SRPD responded to Burger King after an Employee reported a customer in the drive-thru threatened him with a handgun. The suspect became upset with the length of the line and the fact that the employee told her to “Hold on.”
The suspect spray painted on the drive-thru menu and when she rolled up to the window and received her order, she looked in the bag and was upset about something missing. She then pointed a handgun at the employee and told him that she would shoot him the next time her order was wrong.
The employee was able to provide the vehicle description and license plate. She had left the scene before officers arrived.
Later that evening, SRPD located her vehicle near Burger King.
The woman was detained and positively identified as the suspect who pointed a handgun at the Burger King employee. She provided a false name to officers which was also the name on her car registration.
Officers searched her car incident to her arrest and located a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol that did not have a serial number and was not registered. Two loaded illegal high-capacity magazines were also located in the car, along with additional ammunition, narcotics possessed to sell, the spray paint used to deface the drive-through menu, identification to others not known to her, a journal containing names and associated credit card numbers, and methamphetamine smoking pipes.
She was later booked at the Marin County Jail for eight felonies, nine misdemeanors, and two outstanding warrants.
