“On October 6th at 7 a.m., Placer County Sheriff’s detectives served a search warrant at a residence on F Street in Sheridan.
Inside the residence they found a non-serialized short barreled AR-15 assault rifle, a non-serialized 9mm handgun, over nine pounds of methamphetamine, just under half a pound of heroin, two pounds of marijuana, a stolen motorcycle and a large quantity of cash.
The suspect, 49-year old Daniel Mennick, was arrested for felon in possession of firearms, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance for sale and other related charges.”
