“Early Tuesday morning, October 12, 2021, officers were in the area of Beck and Woolner Avenue on an unrelated call when spotting a suspicious blue Chrysler Caravan, parked in the middle of the street with no license plates.
Officers initiated a traffic enforcement stop after two subjects got into the vehicle. The vehicle briefly stopped before driving away and entering eastbound highway 80 in the wrong direction. Due to public safety, officers terminated the pursuit as they contacted California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Solano CHP and CHP Golden Gate Division Air Operations picked up the pursuit and followed the Dodge Caravan as it traveled into the Napa County Area, where all four occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
As a result of great teamwork and communication, all four occupants were located and arrested on multiple felony charges.
Fairfield Officers returned to the area where they originally observed the suspects and found that they had jacked up a vehicle in an attempted to steal its catalytic converter. Left behind was a Sawzall, and a floor jack.
During a search of the suspects’ vehicle they found two loaded firearms.
30-year old, Dante Cardone of Danville, 28-year-old Jose Collazoochoa of Modesto, 27-year-old Randall Davis and 28-year-old Anthony Williams of Castro Valley were arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail on numerous felony charges to include: Grand theft, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon and evading a police officer while driving the wrong way.
