Kings County man caught allegedly driving under the influence on suspended license

A Kings County man whose driver’s license had already been suspended for his driving under the influence has been arrested for, again, allegedly driving under the influence.
On the morning of Saturday, October 23, a deputy on patrol pulled a vehicle over in the area of Jersey and 17th Avenues in Lemoore for suspected DUI. Though the driver initially provided a false name, according to the Sheriff’s Office, he was eventually identified as 27-year-old Abelardo Cisneros.
Cisneros, whose license had already been suspended for driving under the influence, reportedly displayed signs of being under the influence of possible methamphetamine. Over nine grams of meth and three grams of cocaine where later found on him, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies then searched the vehicle and reportedly found more methamphetamine divided between two bags, equalling out to about 25 grams. Cisneros was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of San Luis Obispo.
Cisneros’s passenger, 37-year-old Shannon Sanda, was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and admitted to deputies that she had fentanyl on her, which was later confiscated by jail staff.
Both Cisneros and Sanda were arrested and booked on several charges related to possession and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
