“On Thursday EDSO Narcotic’s Detectives served a search warrant at a South Lake Tahoe apartment related to an ongoing narcotics investigation. Upon arrival to the residence, the primary suspect was contacted in the complex’s public area and was detained. The suspect was found to have a loaded 9mm handgun with a 30-round magazine in his waistband. This firearm was found to be a “Ghost Gun”, meaning it was not serialized and untraceable.
Inside the apartment, Detectives located a fully loaded 9mm Uzi, readily accessible on the couch of the living room. This firearm had a loaded large-capacity magazine. Detectives seized pills suspected of containing fentanyl, cocaine, and a large quantity of psilocybin. Evidence of drug sales including packaging, scales, cash, and money straps were also seized.
