Petaluma woman arrested on suspicion of DUI twice in less than two days
Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence twice in less than two days, according to Petaluma PD.
Just before midnight, on the night of February 16, 37-year-old Jillian Jimenez reportedly drove into the Steamer Landing parking lot while officers were speaking with an uninvolved individual, pulled into a parking space, and collided with the curb.
Jimenez was visibly disoriented when she got out of the car, police said, and ultimately failed a field sobriety test. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of medication and/or narcotics and later released, though it is unclear whether she posted bail.
The next night, around 10 PM, officers pulled Jimenez over in the area of East D Street after reportedly seeing her driving erratically, nearly striking parked cars, and narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with a police cruiser. Jimenez again appeared to be under the influence and again failed field sobriety tests, and was booked on suspicion of DUI.
