“In the early hours of Tuesday, 4/5/2022, an RPD officer conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Sunrise Ave. Two occupants were detained and later identified as 35 year old Troy Sherman of Marysville and 27 year old female out of Roseville.
Sherman was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) and Probation.
While being detained, Sherman was found to be in possession of over 2 oz. of meth, 6 grams of fentanyl, 75 oxy pills, small amount of cocaine, over a pound of marijuana, approx. $300 in cash, and a loaded 9mm magazine.
When the female exited the vehicle, she was found to be in possession of a fully loaded ghost gun under her purse. She was quick to divulge that Sherman gave her the gun as they were pulled over.
After a thorough investigation, Sherman was ultimately arrested on multiple charges including felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of controlled substances, transportation and suspected sales of controlled substances, and other related charges.
The case was forwarded to detectives with the Crime Suppression Unit for further investigation.”
