“Yesterday, officers assigned to our North Problem Oriented Policing (POP) stopped a vehicle in the south Natomas area. One individual was found to be on searchable probation.
While officers conducted a search of the vehicle, two loaded Glock handguns were located. One of the guns was converted to have fully automatic capabilities. 19-year-old Jonnie Bartholomew and 18-year-old Kevilo Perry were arrested on multiple felony gun charges.
Our officers remain committed to addressing gun crimes using a comprehensive strategy that includes proactive enforcement in high crime areas.”
