Murrieta, CA – On Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 2:09 a.m., the Murrieta Police Department Communications Center received calls regarding a fight between a security guard and a patron at The Cove Bar and Grill, located at 40675 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, in the city of Murrieta. Witnesses reported that the patron had been struck by a security guard and was unconscious in the parking lot.
Officers from the Murrieta Police Department and Paramedics from Murrieta Fire & Rescue responded and found the female patron requiring medical. The victim was ultimately transported to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries. The security guard left the scene prior to police contact.
