Murder Case continues in Tulare County
Five charged in chilling case
Eric Jimenez, 28, of Strathmore was arraigned on August 22 for the murder of Jorge Ayon. Other people in custody on this case are: Matthew Campos, charged with Murder, use of a Firearm, and Arson; Eric Jimenez charged with Murder; Raquel Espinoza, charged with accessory to murder after the fact; Parrish Jones, charged with accessory to murder after the fact.
A bit of history points out the gruesome details, according to a Tulare Sheriff’s report. On March 29 at around 8:24 pm, deputies were dispatched to an abandoned building located in the 24000 block of 184 in Strathmore. Deputies responded to the scene and discovered a burning body.
The victim was subsequently transported to the Tulare County Morgue for an autopsy and investigation by the Violent Crimes Division.

On May 28th at approximately 8:00 am, detectives contacted Parrish Jones, 29 years old from Porterville, at a friend’s residence, in regards to four outstanding warrants and to speak to him in regards to this investigation. During the investigation it was learned that Jones was contacted by one of the suspects after Ayon had been killed, and assisted by helping burn the body and by destroying other evidence. He was booked without incident into the Porterville Substation on charges of accessory to murder, a “No Bail” charge.
He was also booked on the four misdemeanor warrants for charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail on the warrants totaled $40,000.
