Folsom police have announced the arrest of a Lincoln man on various charges following the seizure of large amounts of counterfeit Xanax pills and multiple firearms.
On the evening of Tuesday, November 15, Folsom PD SVU detectives served a search warrant at the home of 38-year-old Christopher Sheridan, located in an unincorporated area of Placer County near Lincoln.
Sheridan had been arrested during a traffic stop during a traffic stop in Folsom four days earlier, on November 12. During a search of his vehicle, police had reportedly found a handgun and over 400 suspected counterfeit Xanax pills. Sheridan was ultimately arrested.
During the search of Sheridan’s home, detectives found 375 more counterfeit pills, four handguns, two long guns, and about $25,000 in cash, police said.
Sheridan remains in custody at the Sacramento County main jail on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale, carrying a loaded firearm in public, carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle, and possession of a firearm with illegal drugs.
