For the last couple weeks a task force called “Operation Consequences” has been making many arrests and getting illegal weapons off the streets of San Bernardino County. This week they were able to add 6 more to the growing list.
This week, the task force was able to serve another 2 search warrants leading to 6 weapons being confiscated, recovery of illegal narcotics, and 6 felony arrests.
“Operation Consequences” is focusing on Crime Suppression Operations in the High Desert and the Sheriff’s jurisdiction in the surrounding areas of the city of San Bernardino. The operation is comprised of Deputies from the Sheriff’s Gang/ Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, and Patrol Stations as well as the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Probation and Department of Homeland Security Investigations. The operation is expected to last a few months to undo targeted criminal street gangs.
