Husband and Wife Arrested Amid Investigation into Alleged Drug Activity

MURRIETA – In the early morning hours of December 30, 2022, the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force was conducting surveillance in the area of the 42000 block of Thoroughbred Lane in connection to suspected illegal drug activity.
Theodore Tilton, a convicted felon, reportedly came out of his house with a loaded firearm in view. Task Force officers detained Tilton without incident.
A further search revealed alleged narcotic sales and a non-registered “ghost” gun, which lead to the arrest of Tilton’s wife, Miranda Tilton.
In total, police reportedly found and seized an un-serialized firearm containing 16 live rounds of ammunition, 1.1 pounds of methamphetamine, 204 grams (approximately 2,300) of M30 fentanyl pills, 51.4 grams of fentanyl, and 26 grams (approximately 100 pills) of morphine.
