Truckee Police Department Seeks Community’s Assistance in Residential Burglary Investigation

The Truckee Police Department is reaching out to the local community for assistance in identifying an individual of interest in an ongoing residential burglary investigation. Authorities have released a surveillance photo captured from a home in the Glenshire area on the evening of June 18, 2023, in the hopes that someone may recognize the subject.
The person in question is described as an adult male, estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds. The individual has short hair and sports a distinctive “handle-bar” style mustache.
Based on the image, the subject was seen wearing several distinct clothing items. He donned a ball cap, a jacket featuring a logo near the left breast, jeans, and white-tip shoes reminiscent of the classic “Chuck Taylor” style Converse footwear.
The Truckee Police Department’s Investigations Unit has urged anyone with information related to the identity of the pictured subject to come forward. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could be crucial in progressing the investigation.
