Fresno Police Identify Suspect in Fatal October 2022 Shooting

The Fresno Police Department has announced the arrest of the primary suspect in a fatal shooting in October of 2022.
In a press release, Fresno PD identified 33-year-old Mikki Jordan as the primary suspect in connection with the 2022 murder of 38-year-old Salahuddin Muhammad. The arrest was made by the United States Marshals Office on Wednesday, July 12th, in Sacramento.
The incident occurred on October 6, 2022, at around 1 AM, when officers responded to a shooting victim at the intersection of North Parkway Drive and West Belmont Avenue. The victim, Salahuddin Muhammad, was found with gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to Community Regional Medical Center. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Recently, homicide detectives from the Fresno Police Department identified Mikki Jordan as the primary suspect in the murder of Muhammad. An arrest warrant was issued for Jordan. The United States Marshals Office executed the warrant and apprehended Jordan in Sacramento last week. He was then transported back to Fresno and booked into the Fresno County jail on suspicion of murder.
