Farmersville Man Arrested on Suspicion of Assault, Kidnapping, and Rape

Allegations of assault, kidnapping, and rape came to light on Thursday when the victim came forward to report the alleged crimes to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
The TCSO launched an investigation into the matter, leading to the identification of the alleged perpetrator, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.
Detectives assigned to the case identified 22-year-old Nicholas Lozano, a Farmersville resident, as the primary suspect. Following their inquiry, a search warrant was executed in the 400 block of Brundage Avenue in Farmersville, where Lozano was apprehended without incident.
The charges against Lozano reportedly include assault, kidnapping, and rape, and he remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
