Sutter County Man Arrested for Alleged Possession of Narcotics for Sale

A Sutter County man currently on parole was recently arrested for the alleged possession of narcotics for sale, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.
Authorities say that just before 2 AM on Tuesday, October 17, a Sutter County K-9 Deputy spotted a Black Ford Explorer lacking license plates behind Sierra Central Credit Union on Bogue Road in Yuba City.
The individual inside the vehicle was identified as 43-year-old Timothy Blankenship, who was on searchable probation and CDC Parole. During a vehicle search, deputies uncovered two baggies of methamphetamine, each weighing approximately 28.5 grams, equivalent to about 2 ounces of narcotics.
Deputies reportedly also found a digital scale and cash in small denominations.
Blankenship was arrested and booked into Sutter County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also subjected to an authorized parole hold.
