Hollister Police Seek Identity of Motorist Accused of Intentionally Striking Bicyclist

ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE – Last night around 9:45 pm, a collision between a bicycle and vehicle occurred in the downtown area. Our investigation indicates the act was intentional. A bicyclist reported an argument with the driver of a pickup truck, who intentionally sought out, struck, and dragged the victim, before fleeing the scene.

The victim is being treated for serious injuries at an area hospital but is expected to survive.
