“November 15th, 2:16 PM: Officers were dispatched to Sunglass Hut located at 2780 Cabot Drive regarding an in-progress theft.
Two suspects identified as Tajonae Mondy (25 years of San Diego) and Chavellia McMullen (27 years of Corona) entered the store with large empty bags and immediately began placing numerous sunglasses in their bags without paying for them.
They were confronted by employees who locked the suspects in the store.
The suspects then dumped the sunglasses on the ground, damaging most of them. Officers quickly arrived and detained both suspects.
It was discovered the women had attempted to steal over $18,000 worth of merchandise. Both suspects were arrested for retail theft, grand theft, vandalism, and conspiracy.”
