Stockton: Two Arrested after Police Pursuit Ends in Collision

“Shortly after 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 16th, Deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle with a license plate that did not match its registration on Wilson Way in Stockton, near the diverting canal. The driver fled, resulting in a pursuit that ended at Hammer Lane and Holman Rd. The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle wrecked into another vehicle. The suspect (driver) sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. One civilian passenger was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. No other injuries were sustained.
The driver was found to be on parole, and his passenger was found to have a warrant for his arrest for a parole violation stemming from armed robbery. Upon searching the suspect’s vehicle, one illegal loaded firearm was located, as well as illegal narcotics.”
