“On 12/19/2023, at approximately 10:00 pm, a deputy with the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office was on patrol and located a vehicle parked near the Speedway Gas Station, in Red Bluff.
The deputy observed a subject, slumped over the wheel in the vehicle and attempted to check on the welfare of the single male occupant, later identified as Roger Hayden age 52 of Red Bluff. The deputy developed probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle as well as the occupant deputies located about six ounces of suspected fentanyl, one ounce of suspected heroin, a digital scale, a large amount of cash and other indicia consistent with the sales of controlled substances.
Mr. Hayden was arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail on felony charges.”
