Del Norte County Man Turns Himself In for Alleged Baseball Bat, Machete Attack

“On 03-28-2024, Deputies with the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Maher Ave. for a report of a male subject being attacked with a baseball bat and machete. Upon arrival a male subject, with multiple injuries was located. The victim of this incident was transported to Sutter Coast Hospital for treatment. During the investigation, Warren Bailey age 32, turned himself in at the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office. With the assistance of the Crescent City Police Department, Bailey was taken into custody. Bailey is currently being held at the Del Norte County Jail on the charges of:
664/187 P.C. Attempted Murder
245 P.C. Assault with a deadly weapon
594 P.C. Vandalism”
