Cracking Down on Organized Retail Crime: Davis PD Makes Significant Arrests

“Organized Retail Crime (ORC) is a significant issue for many communities and retailers across the state. These highly organized crimes directly impact customer costs and experiences.

Davis PD recently completed a lengthy investigation involving several individuals responsible for large-scale coordinated thefts, specifically here in Davis, which resulted in approximately $80,000 in recovered merchandise.

Through diligent investigative work, Davis PD was able to arrest Deyrick Bobeda, 44, of Elk Grove and Adrian Chao, 28, of Sacramento, for crimes related to organized retail theft and conspiracy.”
