Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office is calling on the public for help in a current sexual assault investigation.

Police say that, on the evening of June 2, an unknown man attempted to sexually assault a woman in the area of Van Allen Road and Skiff Road in Escalon. The victim successfully fought off the suspect.

The victim reportedly described the suspect as a white male in his 40’s who stood about six feet tall and had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a mole on his left cheek.

The Sheriff’s Office has released an AI-generated composite sketch based on the victim’s description.

Investigators ask that anyone with information relevant to the case reach out to the non-emergency line at 209-468-4400.
