Man Serving Minimum Of 15 Years Regarding Multiple Sexual Crimes
“CASE UPDATE: In March 2023, Truckee Police Department detectives concluded an investigation involving an adult male from Reno attempting to arrange a meeting with a local juvenile to commit sexual acts.
In working partnership with the FBI, Northern Nevada’s Regional Human Trafficking and Exploitation Team (HEAT), and the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, a sting operation was conducted in the Glenshire area of Truckee. The operation resulted in the arrest of Carlos Concha for numerous sex crimes related to child luring and enticement.
Last week Concha was sentenced to a minimum of 10 years in prison on a federal charge of coercion and enticement of a child, adding on to similar charges that were sentenced in Washoe County in April.
Concha will serve a minimum prison sentence of 15 years between all the cases. He will be a registered sex offender and was sentenced to a lifetime of supervision which will begin when released.
