Quincy Commercial Break-Ins: Three Separate Incidents Reported
“Update on three, unrelated commercial break-in’s in Quincy:
#1 On 6/15/24 at 2:23 am, the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a commercial burglary alarm at the One Stop Gas Station. Upon arrival, it was discovered the front door of the business had been broken into. A short time later the suspect, Jonathan Dean, 46, of Quincy turned himself into the Plumas County Jail. Dean was booked for 459 PC – Burglary and 488 PC – Theft.
#2 During the early hours of Wednesday, 6/25/24 at about 01:16 am, a deputy was dispatched to the One Stop Gas Station for the report of a commercial burglary alarm. Upon arrival, two subjects fled on foot. During the search additional subjects fled on foot in the area around the business. Additional units arrived and it was confirmed the business had been broken into. After a search of the area two juvenile suspects were located. Two suspects are believed to be outstanding. Due to the suspects being juveniles and the investigation ongoing, no further information about this case is available.
#3 On 6/27/2024, the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that occurred during the early hours of 6/25/2024. Because of good surveillance the suspect was quickly identified. Christina Ward, 30, of Greenville was arrested later in the day on 6/27/2024. Ward was booked into Plumas County Jail on charges of 459 PC – Burglary and 1203.3 PC – Probation Violation. The community’s assistance in identifying the suspect is appreciated.”
