Lake Elsinore Taekwondo Instructor Jailed on Child Molestation Charges

LAKE ELSINORE – Police are still seeking more information and more possible victims after a 63-year-old man was charged with child molestation this week.

Albert George Williams was arrested last weekend, a few hours after an alleged molestation was reported, said Riverside County sheriff’s officials. Williams is a Taekwando teacher, and reportedly molested an eight-year-old girl who had been taking private lessons in a garage at a nearby residence. It was during one of the classes, said sheriff’s officials, that he sexually molested the girl.

The original call was placed after 7 p.m. on Nov. 3. Following interviews and initial investigation, Williams was arrested at his residence in the 15600 block of Laguna Ave.
“This is an active investigation,” said Sgt. Todd Pauling. Lake Elsinore is a city in Riverside County located between Riverside and Temecula.

On Wednesday, Williams was charged with three felony counts, including lewd acts with a child under the age of 14, according to a county release. Other charges include oral copulation of a minor and witness intimidation. Williams is being held at the Southwest Detention Center in French Valley. According to jail records, his bail was set at $1 million by Riverside County Superior Court Judge Michael Rushton at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta. Williams’ arraignment is set for Nov. 27.

If convicted on all counts, Williams is facing more than 10 years in prison. A check of Riverside County records does not indicate he has a criminal record.

According to a release, investigators are looking for additional victims.
