Three Juvenile Suspects Arrested for Burglary and Vandalism at Greer Elementary School
“THREE JUVENILES ARRESTED | BURGLARY + FELONY VANDALISM TO GREER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
On Thursday, July 11th, 2024, approximately 3:10 a.m., Galt PD Officers responded to a burglary alarm at Greer Elementary School. While en-route, surveillance footage showed three suspects on campus. When officers arrived on scene, two suspects fled on foot. The third suspect was later located at his residence nearby. All male juvenile suspects were detained and taken into custody without incident.
It was later determined there was approximately $15,000 worth of damage to school grounds. Two juveniles were transported to the Sacramento County Juvenile Detention Facility and booked on the charges of burglary, felony vandalism, resisting arrest, providing a false name to officers, and minor in possession of alcohol. Due to the age of the third suspect, he was cited and released to his parents for burglary and resisting arrest.
Due to the suspects being juveniles, no other identifying information will be released at this time.”
