Vacaville Resident Arrested For Stealing Groceries
“On August 5, 2024, at 12:50 AM, a local grocery store called Davis Police Dispatch to report a theft in progress at their business.
The subject had pushed out a cart full of items and was loading them into his car. After loading the items, the suspect then fled in his vehicle.
Davis Police patrol officers immediately arrived in the area and stopped the subject as he was driving away.
All of the stolen grocery items were located in the vehicle. The suspect, 38-year-old Daniel Lassiter of Vacaville, was arrested for shoplifting.
The stolen items, totaling $760, were returned to the business.”
