San Benito County Deputies Reportedly Confiscate Narcotics, Firearm in Late July Patrols

“On 07/12/24, Deputy Miller performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration and the driver was found to be on San Benito County probation. A search was performed, resulting in 110 M-30 pills (fentanyl) and a methamphetamine pipe being located behind the driver’s seat. The driver was arrested and transported to the San Benito County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sales and for violating his probation.

On 07/17/24, Deputy K. Brown performed a traffic stop, for a vehicle code violation, on Sunset Drive and Valley View Road. The driver was found to be in possession of loaded firearm with a second loaded magazine being found in the center console. The driver was arrested by means of citation.”
